Maritime governance task force initial workshop
The task force held its first workshop on 16 April 2026. The workshop convened approximately 40 representatives from the full maritime value chain, as well as government representatives and governance experts, at Lloyd’s Register in London. The aim was to build a shared understanding around the challenges at hand and the opportunities to collectively shape solutions. Combining expert presentations and discussions with collaborative work in breakout groups under the Chatham House Rule, it explored tangible actions for the task force and the broader maritime community to pursue.
Ingrid is responsible for the successful delivery of the Annual Summit and for incubating new initiatives and projects in line with the Global Maritime Forum's mission.
Juš leads an industry-led initiative to address gaps in global maritime governance. He also supports content development for the Annual Summit and the scoping and research of new strategic initiatives.
Randall supports the operational efficiency work and advises on broader decarbonisation strategy. He has also served as the facilitator for several Annual Summits.
Ida is responsible for researching into new areas towards developing and incubating new projects and programmes. She also works on the content and design of the Annual Summit and is responsible for identifying speakers.
